                About DW Hayward

                DW has been a practicing artist for nearly five decades. Starting with large format pencil and pastel landscapes in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire, marshes of Ipswich, Massachusetts and seashores of Rhode Island, he expanded his repertoire west of Boston 20 years ago to include people, places and things in charcoal and oil paint. Building upon a life-long impressionistic approach to art, he is undertaking an intensive study of Beaux-Artes techniques at the Academy of Realist Art/Boston to further evolve and entertain your senses.
